Every Thursday at my job, we order thai food. It's fairly large portions and probably terrible for you, but the spiciness just can't be beat. I didn't have problems with it last week, probably because I had a split order of chicken and cashews and pad thai. This week it was pad thai only.
I had something to go to at night, so when I got home from work, I popped in the cardio power and resistance dvd. I was already a little uneasy because the warmup which I've grown accustomed too wasn't looking too pretty. My stomach felt funny and every move was worse than the last. I think I had to take a short breather during the last set of vertical jumps in the warmup. Keep in mind, this is the workout that I almost vomited during my first go at it.
The first circuit I was a little worried about because of the vertical pushups. This is where i'm upside down in downward dog doing a pushup. I took it as easy as I could and still made it.
This second circuit just finished me off. So much food in my stomach and so many pushups left to do. First you got the moving pushups, then you got the plank run, then the 8 hop squats and 8 pushups at the end. The spicy little war going on in my insides wasn't helping the situation either.
This was not a very good session, and I think I'll cut back on the thai food next week. Or at least skip breakfast so I have room in there.
Oh and by the way, I was totally about half an hour early so I probably could've slacked off a bit more and let myself digest.
